Nathan Nolan

Nathan has had a drive to succeed since the age of 18 when he took control of the Milliken Mills Times newspaper. Now Nolan Publishing is one of the largest publishing companies in the country. With this comes accumulated wealth and influence making Nathan the most powerful man in Milliken Mills.

Jackie Nolan

Jackie is married to Nathan and the mother of Thomas and Tina. Often the neglected wife, Jackie wants her own standing in Milliken Mills other than the label of "Nathan's wife".

Thomas Nolan

Entitled son of Nathan and Jackie. Thomas has been groomed to take over Nolan Publishing one day, but his immaturity and lack of patience gets him in trouble. So do the ladies.

Best friends with Eddie Drake and Cody Connor.

Tina Nolan

Tina is the daughter of Nathan and Jackie Nolan. The younger sister of Thomas. She has always had a bit of a rebellious streak wanting to assert her independence from the family.

Eddie Drake

Eddie grew up on the poor side of Milliken Mills with an alcoholic father and an imperfect childhood. If there's trouble out there, Eddie will find it.

Best friends with Thomas Nolan and Cody Connor.

Catherine Drake

Catherine is a strong woman and a nurse at Milliken Mills Memorial. One day she met Eddie Drake as a patient and it was love at first sight. So she thought.

Erika Drake Connor

Erika recently gave up teaching to help her husband, Cody, run the Mill Land Pub. Close to her brother, Eddie, the two often looked out for each other while growing up.

Cody Connor

Cody, along with his wife, Erika, have taken over the Mill Land Pub from his uncle. Always with an independent streak, Cody likes to be his own boss. He's very protective of his friends Eddie and Thomas.

Melanie Wilson

Melanie is the niece of George Wilson, the owner of the Milliken Mills Enquirer. Nathan Nolan has been trying to takeover the paper for years as it is the only rival in Milliken Mills.

Melanie dated Thomas Nolan in college before disappearing without a trace. Now she's back...with a plan.

Lacy Hanna

Lacy is a spitfire who takes no prisoners. She grew up hating the Nolans because Nathan had an affair with her mother that led to a difficult childhood and her Daddy's life falling apart. She dated Thomas in college and later left town for a brief period. She has now returned to claim what's hers. Is that Thomas?

Suzy Hanna

Suzy is Lacy's older sister. She is employed by Nolan Publishing at the Milliken Mills Times. She always feels unnoticed and underappreciated.

Michael Adams

Michael is a Milliken Mills police officer. He and Melanie dated in high school before he went off to the military.

Detective David Roy

David has moved to Milliken Mills after a divorce looking to make a new start. He wasn't expecting his first case as a Milliken Mills detective to put him in a worldwide spotlight.

Martin Newman

Martin is a Miami bartender having an affair with Jackie Nolan. He didn't realize he was a pawn in Nathan and Jackie's games.
